Nowadays, the number of people who use smartphone is still increasing and smartphone’s function is getting better and better. One of the basic functions that many manufacturer try to compete with each other is camera. Smartphone camera makes photography a lot easier and it leads more people into taking and sharing images.¦ The popular of taking photo with smartphone is rising until BJP decided to launch the first weekly digital magazine about smartphone photography called “FLTR”.

FLTR is created by one of the most famous magazine BJP (British Journal of Photography) crews. FLTR presents new coming works from various smartphone photographers, application news, interview and many more. It aims for serious smartphone photographers who want to further develop their works and pursue greater goal in photography not only for general smartphone user.

FLTR provides space for new coming photographers who want to present their work to the public and also tools creator, equipment manufacturer and application to promote or introduce their works.

Olivier Laurent, associate editor of BJP, said that smartphone has changed photography, everyone can be photographer. In the next 12 month (in 2014) more than 880 billion images will be taken by smartphone. Smartphone will become a great tool that moves production and distribution.
