The Winner of Beauty of Monochrome Contest was officially announced

The Black and White Photographic Society of Thailand officially announced the winner of “Beauty of Monochrome Contest” which classified into 3 categories; Street/Documentary Photography, Landscape/Architecture and Creative/Manipulated. There were more than 4,500 images by more than 1,000 photographers participated in this contest.¦ The winners are as follows;
Street/Documentary Photography, the 1st prize was awarded to Karueporn Satrapai “Tee Pak Ping” (residence). The 2nd was given to Varinthorn Pormajanya “city possess her beauty soul but remain just beauty face” and the 3rd was given to Bussara Sukpanichnant “Evening”, Duangdao Boonyen “Yud Ning Rue Wing Pai” (Staying or Running), Arisara Jassadapongpukdee “London Eye”, Natchaphon Nakpetchpoon “Friendship” and Sakesan Wangjaisuk “Cut It Off”.
Landscape/Architecture, the 1st prize was awarded to Suchada Ramakul “Curve of Monochrome”. The 2nd was given to Hansa Tangmanpoowadol “Sanook Lumpang” (Enjoy alone) and the 3rd was given to Suphachai Aimradee “MOCA Shape”, Wachira Trachoo “nothing”, Sunhakoch Teapyothin “Sereeparp” (Freedom), Karueporn Satrapai “Meung Hanoi” (Hanoi City) and Thananon Salard “Rhythm Of Structure 1”.
Creative/Manipulated, the 1st prize was awarded to Sirirak Chantorn “HOME 2/5”. The 2nd was given to Kosit Jitpairoj “Kon Hin Klang Num” (Rock in the central river) and the 3rd was given to Suthas Rungsirisilp “Karn Chong Chum” (Imprisonment), Sirirak Chantorn “HOME 3/5”, Thanawat Jaikla “Rang Dueng Dood (Gravity), Chayapol Boodboonniam “Mask of the forest” and Arisara Jassadapongpukdee “Creative001”.
39 awarded pictures will be shown in the annual exhibition of The Black and White Photographic Society of Thailand at 3rd floor Central World, 1-10 September 2014.
