The ceremony draws near, Royal Barge procession.NewsEventLast week 52 barges, together with more than 2,200 oarsmen, had finished their practices in Chao Phraya river, Bangkok. On 21st and 27th of September and on 4th, 8th, 12th and 19th of October the rehearsal of full scale barges, practice uniform dress, will be conducted in Chao Phraya river where all other water transportation routes will be closed.
8 Royal Barges moved to Naval DockyardNewsEventAll royal barges, include Suphannahong and Narai Song Suban HM Rama IX, were moved to the Royal Thai Navy dockyard. Barges that were kept at the National Museum of Royal Barges after finish repairing were put down from base into water in late afternoon and towed to the dockyard in early morning.
The grand sacrifice ceremony, Royal Barge ProcessionNewsEventThe grand sacrifice ceremony was conducted to warship barge nymphs in royal barges. The ceremony took place on 9th of August at the National Museum of Royal Barges, Bangkok. In a week all royal barges, include Suphannahong and Narai Song Suban HM Rama IX, will be moved to the Royal Thai Navy dockyard. 
Run through the sea, mini-marathon to Pitak IslandNewsEvent"Run through the sea" is a special mini-marathon where athletes needs to run from shore into the sea to reach the finish line on island. This event is held in Amphoe Langsuan, Chumpon province where Pitak Island locate. 
3 months to go, Royal Barge ProcessionNewsEventOarsmen seriously continue practicing for The Royal Barge Procession which will be held in early November. The practice location are divided in various places for small group training and the big reharsal will be held in Chao Phraya River in a few month. 
Music from Marines; sound that celebrate the Independence.NewsEventMarines music band from III Marines Expeditionary Force played some pieces of jazz and rock music at Central World Department store, Bangkok, to celebrate the Independence Day on 4th of July. It is a part of celebration held by US embassy.
