3rd Eye Trilogy is a new, three-part series of Piyatat Hemmatat’s photographs inspired by the mystery and beauty of looking into a lens — the third eye that he uses to create his photographic universe. A lens reveals structures and shapes; against light, a hidden universe of organic, and even futuristic forms…a gateway beyond ordinary sight. Here within the len’s mechanical marvels, a new series of abstract photographs by one of Thailand’s most promising young photographers was born.The exhibition is accompanied by a beautiful catalogue with words by Thailand’s most revered writer and poet, Phanomtien. He provides poetic words for each photograph, bringing subtle meaning and a literary way of looking at Hemmatat’s latest work.
