The grand sacrifice ceremony was conducted to warship barge nymphs in royal barges. The ceremony took place on 9th of August at the National Museum of Royal Barges, Bangkok. In a week all royal barges, include Suphannahong and Narai Song Suban HM Rama IX, will be moved to the Royal Thai Navy dockyard. ¦ Oarsmen will keep practicing with these royal barges and other barges in river for a few more months before the real ceremony in November.
