This photography exhibition originated when the princess joined a group of friends, doctors and veterinarians on volunteer missions to help flood victims in Ayutthaya and Pathumthani. Through the lens and an artist’s passion for photography, the princess conveyed her varied emotions as she travelled the abandoned cities on a military vehicle, boarded a small boat to survey temples submerged by waters and take in how people lived with floods, and set out on foot to feed dogs stranded in the seemingly endless expanse of floodwater. The documentary images illustrate the flood devastation and remind us how powerful nature can be.
